About Mail service
Mail application
1.The embassy accept mailed application for Chinese Travel Document, authentication.
2.The applicant should submit his application to the visa office of embassy or consulate in the consular jurisdiction where he live. Please make sure the application is sent to the correct office, otherwise it shall be returned without processing.
3. Please mark ” Travel Document, authentication.” clearly on your envelope. Any refusal or return caused by failure in indicating the mentioned words is the solo responsibility of the applicant.
A mail application for visa isn’t acceptable, but the embassy and consulate can offer mail back service . Embassy and consulate can post back the application of visa after processing upon request.
Applicant need to supply prepaid envelopes if they will use the mail back service.
Notice:
1.The following return envelops with tracking number/bar code are acceptable: Fedex, Express Mail, etc.;Meter stamped envelops, and certified or registered return mails are not acceptable.
2. The applicant shall fill in his/her name and address on the return envelop instead of the Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
This service usually needs 5- working days. Generally no express service.
