How to apply a Tourist / Family Visit (L) Visa

Something you need to provide:

1. Your valid; actual passport which must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity ,and at least one blank visa page in it.

2.Fill your Visa Application Form (Q1) with one passport photo (black ; white or color is ok) .

3.If you was born in China,you are required to submit your original Chinese passport when you first time apply a Chinese visa as a foreign citizen.

please pay attention to:when you fill in visa application form ,make sure the form completely, correctly and legibly, or else this can lead a delay in processing ,and the refusal of the requested visa.

How to apply

1.You must come to the visa office of the Embassy or Consulate -General in the consular jurisdiction;in which;you live to submit the application; .If you cannot come personally, you can entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to come to the visa office to apply it.

2. No appointment is needed.

You can make the payment by Visa, MasterCard, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Company Check or Cash.

The time of processing

The regular time is 4 working days. If you want to get it fast, you can add fees of $30 for 1 working day processing ,or $20 for 2-3 working days.

Duration of Stay

Usually the validity of a "L" visa is 90 days or 180 days from the date of issue. The duration of stay of a "L" visa usually is 30 days, accounting from the first day after you arrive in china. The visa officer may extend the Duration of Stay if the applicant wants to stay in China for more than 30 days.
