How to apply a Transit (G) Visa

How to apply

1.You must come to the visa office of the Embassy or Consulate -General in the consular jurisdiction in which you live to submit the application; .If you cannot come personally, you can entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to come to the visa office to apply it.

1.Mail applications for visa isn’t accepted and will be refused.But the Mail back service is available .(see the contact detail of mail back servise)

2.No appointment is needed.

Something you need to provide:

1.Your valid & actual passport which must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity ,and at least one blank visa page in it.

2.Fill your Visa Application Form (Q1) with one passport photo (black & white or color is ok)

3.The applicant should provide a valid visa of the country of destination, and a final destination airline ticket.

4.If you was born in China,you are required to submit your original Chinese passport when you first time apply a Chinese visa as a foreign citizen.

please pay attention to:when you fill in visa application form ,make sure the form completely, correctly and legibly, or else this can lead a delay in processing ,and the refusal of the requested visa.

strong>The time of processing

The regular time is 4 working days.If you want to get it fast, you can add fees of $30 for 1 working day processing ,or $20 for 2-3 working days.

Notice:

1. . Person   suffering from mental disorder, leprosy, AIDS, venereal diseases, contagious tuberculosis or other such infectious diseases are not permitted to enter China.

2.Visas are not required for foreigners who hold tickets and have booked seats on international airliners flying directly through China, and will stay in a transit city no more than 24 hours without leaving the airport

3.visas are not required for ordinary passport holders from Singapore ,Brunei and Japan to visit China for less than 15 days for business, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends .

4.Visas are not required of Citizens of the following countries, who transit through Pudong Airport or Hongqiao Airport of Shanghai, provided their valid passports, visas for the country of destination, and a final destination airline ticket,and stay in Shanghai less than 48 hours : Republic of Korea, United States, Luxemburg, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Austria, Greece. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium.
