How to apply a Resident (D) Visa

How to apply

1.You must come to the visa office of the Embassy or Consulate -General in the consular jurisdiction in which you live to submit the application; .If you cannot come personally, you can entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to come to the visa office to apply it.

1.Mail applications for visa isn’t accepted and will be refused.But the Mail back service is available .(see the contact detail of mail back servise)

2.No appointment is needed.

Something you need to provide:

 The applicant should provide a residence e Approval Certificate issued by the Chinese public security bureau. And Physical Examination Certificate for Foreign Citizen.”

Your valid & actual passport which must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity ,and at least one blank visa page in it.

3. Fill your Visa Application Form (Q1) with one passport photo (black & white or color is ok)

4.If you was born in China,you are required to submit your original Chinese passport when you first time apply a Chinese visa as a foreign citizen.

please pay attention to:when you fill in visa application form ,make sure the form completely, correctly and legibly, or else this can lead a delay in processing ,and the refusal of the requested visa.

Visa fee and processing time

$100 for American, and $30 for citizens of other countries. (You can pay it by Visa, MasterCard, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Company Check or Cash. )

The time of processing

The regular time is 4 working days.If you want to get it fast, you can add fees of $30 for 1 working day processing ,or $20 for 2-3 working days.
